Hey everyone,
Ok, So I went to the Dr. yesterday afternoon because on Tuesday I didn't feel all that great. I couldn't seem to wake up and I felt like I had taken way too much cold medcine. I was loopy and couldn't focus on anything and I wasn't making any sense. And had I been able to think clearly I would have called the Dr. then. But as the day went on..it seemed to get better but never really went away. By the time I got home, I noticed my hands were a little swollen...not to bad though. Once Kevin got home we went out to Target and then to Wal-Mart to get some walking in and help convince little man to come! Well, while we were out at Wal-Mart I started to get really freaked out because my hands got really tight and REALLY swollen and my fingers were red. Of course naturally I started to notice the tightness in my legs, ankles, and feet. Once we got home I was able to see that they were just as swollen. Ok, so back to yesterday (Wed) at the doc. I told them all of that, and how tired I was that day as well, but I felt better than before. They did a urine, blood sugar, and iron test and also checked my blood pressure. They came back and told me that my b/p was higher than normal and higher than they liked, and I had some protein in my urine, and also that my iron had dropped a lot. Still not fully understanding what was going on, the doc then told me that she was going to place me on bed rest until Friday and she wanted me to come back then to get re-checked. She also stated that it could be mild preeclempsia setting in, but that they would know more hopefully on Friday. I will let you know then!

Nursery
3 Weeks to go!
Ok, So I went to the Doctor yesterday, I'm about 1/2 to a cm dilated and about 65% thinned out...So you know what that means...nothing really! Hah! Little Man is just getting closer to making his big appearance! I also measured 3 inches smaller than I did last week, so Dr. Rowland scheduled me in for an ultra sound to make sure everything was ok..and it is, he's just hiding out! They told me he weighs in at about 7lbs and 1 oz, they couldn't get a good measurement on his length because he wouldn't sit still long enough! Acting like his Daddy already :) I'm getting really anxious about meeting him, and Kevin...well let's just say he is REALLY excited! It's really cute actually. He is convinced that little dude will be here this week...I'm just hoping that he doesn't come on our first wedding anniversary. I want his birthday to be focused on him and not have to share it with us!

5 Weeks to go!
Hey everyone,
Ok, so we have 5 weeks to go now! Thank goodness...the past couple of days haven't been very fun! Mr. Dillon has been stuck up in my ribs and causing all kinds of pains for me, but you know...I have to sit back before I complain too much and think about the pregnancy. The first 35 weeks have been a breeze for me and I haven't had any major...well...anything! No problems, no nausea, no really anything. So I guess for me to have 5 more weeks to go...it's about time it became a bit uncomfortable! But non the less, IT HURTS! It hurts to breathe, it hurts to lay down, it hurts to bend down to pick up something, it hurts to really do much of anything! Ok, ok, ok, I'm done complaining! But other than that everything is great. The room is really coming together...and getting full! So thank you everyone for all the stuff! We really, really, really appreciate it!!!

6 weeks to go!
Hey everyone!
We are at 34 weeks into pregnancy and we have about 6 more weeks to go! Everything is going good. Little dude is VERY active...he's starting to show his Daddy's personality! It's been a lot of fun to watch my belly morph into different shapes! The kitties don't seem to mind too much either. Although I do think that Roxie might be getting jealous already! She tries to sit on my belly or use it as a trampoline when jumping down from the arm of the couch...and it hurts! haha Oh well. I still can't seem to get over the fact that I'm going to be a Mom...I feel like I've been pregnant forever but also not very long all at the same time. I still remember the day I took the test and saw the result. Everyone has been so supportive and I don't think I could be as calm as I am with out that support! Anyways.....
